The Amazing RacePut your running shoes on! This party is patterned after the TV show, The Amazing Race, but girls do not have to know the show to have a blast. During the devotion they will learn one of the names of God; “Jehovah-raah,” our Good Shepherd.

Bigger or BetterThis is an unusual and super fun party. Do it in a safe neighborhood, or go to people's homes you know. The girls will be divided into teams and given several identical items. They will then go door to door asking to trade their current items for something bigger or better. We've been amazed at what the teams have come back with every time we've done this party. The devotion will introduce God's name, "Adonai," meaning Lord and Master.

Mall Scavenger HuntGirls will do a scavenger hunt at a mall, taking pictures of items from a list. One color will be picked, like purple, and the girls will search and photograph as many items on their list as possible. All the items photographed must be purple. A second shopping race is also included as a bonus. The devotion will focus on the name, Jehovah Jireh, “God Will Provide.”

Christmas PartyChristmas is the best time for a party! Girls will play Christmas games and decorate sugar cookies; some to eat and some to take home. One decorated cookie will be in the shape of a present. This decorated cookie will tie in with the devotion which focuses on God's name of "Emmanuel," which means, "God with Us." Since we celebrate Jesus' birthday at Christmas, we will discuss what gift we can give to Jesus as His birthday present.

Mystery PartyCome hungry because a mystery meal will start this party off. Girls will order from clues, not knowing exactly what they are picking. Pick carefully because a five-course meal will be brought based on their choices which include not just their food, but also their silverware and drink. Mystery games will be played. During the devotion girls will learn God's name "El Olam," which means "The Eternal One," and ponder the mystery of how God has no beginning and no end.

Piggie PartyYou'll have an “oinking” good time at this Piggie Party. Bet you've never played these games before! There's even one called "That's Pig Poop." Wear some pig snouts and learn about how not to be pigs by having good manners. Girls will practice linen napkin folding and how to set a fancy table. The devotion will even include a verse about a napkin and about God's name of mighty power, “Jehovah Sabaoth,” which means “Lord of Hosts.”

Slime PartyPrepare to get messy! By the ten plagues of Egypt. Girls will first learn about the plagues and God's name of "Shophet," The Judge. Then the party will move outdoors where ten games will be played; each one representative of the ten Egyptian plagues. Girls will get slimed, but I'm sure they will remember what the plagues are! They will not want to miss this party!

Fear Factor PartyWhat are you afraid of? Surely nothing at this party! There are two options for this event: Have a Fear Factor party at your house with ideas we provide. Pick as many as you dare. Or take the girls on an outing such as zip lining, rock climbing, a rope course, sky diving, or white water rafting; whatever would have a challenging/fearful element to it. The devotion focuses on “El Elyon” which means, “God Most High,” our Mighty God whom we should look to when we are fearful.
