It’s a fun, creative way to worship God that starts in the margins of your Bible. It can be as simple as writing a verse or a word like “Trust” in the margin. It can be drawing a picture or tracing some art about something in the Bible. What it really does is get you to slow down, think about a Bible truth and have some fun meditating on it. This doesn’t take the place of Bible reading, rather it is extra. It is not done in your regular Bible. Instead, buy a Journaling Bible or a blank notebook. A Journaling Bible has wide margins and is made of thicker paper so that art can more easily be done on it. Colored pencils are a favorite to work with.
